Concept House Prototype is a collaboration between the academic world and partners from the construction industry. Together, they are developing an innovative construction concept for the Dutch housing market based on energy, environmental, and construction issues. This anticipates the legal requirement for an EPC of 0.0 in 2020.
An integrated approach has been chosen to develop practical and results-oriented solutions for the longer term. Specialist knowledge from TU Delft and from construction practice has been bundled to tackle the complex design issues surrounding stacked housing construction. A consortium was established for this purpose at the beginning of 2011.
